We collect as little as possible.
Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) are kept for security and capacity planning and rotated automatically. We set no advertising or analytics cookies.
If you subscribe to the morning briefing we store your email address for the sole purpose of sending it. Every issue contains an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing deletes your address.
Article images are proxied through our own servers, so external image hosts never see your visit. We use no third-party fonts or trackers. The one exception is our contact page, which embeds an OpenStreetMap of our office; loading that page sends a request to OpenStreetMap. No other page loads third-party content.
Under the GDPR you may request access, correction or deletion of data we hold about you: editor@thedebate.eu.
